Reports to: Shift Leader

BCRS is an important environmental initiative which reduces waste to landfill and improves rates of recycling and re-use, making producers and consumers jointly responsible for the recycling of beverage container waste, towards a higher national effort in recycling and litter reduction.

We are seeking a Machine Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, the right candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) across various public locations. As a key member of our support team, you will ensure that our machines are operational, clean, and well-maintained, thereby contributing to our environmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular Basic maintenance on Reverse Vending Machines, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
• Clean and sanitize machines to maintain hygiene standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor technical issues on-site.
• Liaise with the BCRS Control Room and BCRS Clearing Centre for necessary direction whilst on the job.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid Driving Licence is mandatory. ( European Cat. B )
• Currently Living in Malta
• Is able to communicate in English
